There are two (2) emergency escape stairwells in the 6029 Walnut Grove building. All empty onto the Concourse level and Floor 1 near a designated emergency exit. Listed below are the specific routes to take in the event of a fire alarm or other emergency that requires building evacuation.
East Stairwell – Descend the stairwell to the Concourse level and proceed through the stairwell exit door to the right or the east corridor exit door (across from Hampton Inn) and out of the building. If these doors are blocked, proceed down the corridor to the lobby and out of the building through the main north lobby entrance doors. Proceed to the surface parking lot across from the front, North side of the 6027 Walnut Grove building and await further instructions.
West Stairwell – Descend the stairwell to the Concourse level and proceed through the lobby and out of the building through the main north lobby entrance doors. If these doors are blocked, proceed through the lobby and out of the building through the south lobby entrance doors by the parking garage. Proceed to the surface parking lot across from the front, north side of the 6027 Walnut Grove building and await further instructions.
